LifeCare Companions’ Services
Personal Health Care refers to those “hands-on” services that contribute to a client’s overall health and well-being. Like our Companionship Care services, these can include general assistance with activities of daily living both inside and outside of the home.
Personal Health Care Services are mostly provided by Home Health Aides (HHA’s), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s). However, depending on the wishes of the client, these services can also be provided by a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN).
Companionship Care covers a wide range of services that are designed to assist our clients with day to day activities both inside and outside of the home. They generally consist of non-medical, light duty services that do not require physical “hands-on” or other medical related procedures.
Companionship Care Services can also provide social outreach for clients who are lonely, home-bound, or simply unable to easily get out and about.
These services are mostly provided by Homemakers Companions, Home Health Aides (HHA’s), or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s).
Skilled Nursing Care refers to medical related services which can only be performed by the most highly trained and qualified nursing professionals. These include services that are either prescribed by a physician, provide the client or physician with important medical information, or are included as part of a physicians Medical Treatment Plan.
Depending on the level of care required, Skilled Nursing Care Services are administered or supervised by either a State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Specialized Care Services can have unique demands, depending on the type of care required. We are careful to select only those caregivers with the proper qualifications and experience to meet the needs of our clients.
